Delete your account

If you can sign in

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Go to Account, then Delete account.
3. Confirm with your password.

Consider exporting your data first — Account → Your data gives you everything as a JSON file, or your library as a CSV. Once the account is deleted the export is no longer available.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@nightshelf.pt from the address associated with your account, asking for deletion. We confirm the request comes from the account owner before acting on it, so requests sent from another address cannot be honoured.

Requests are actioned within 30 days.

What is deleted

Removed permanently and immediately:

• Your account, email address, display name and password hash.
• Your entire library, including ratings, progress and notes.
• Your custom lists and their contents.
• Your queue and its history.
• Your discovery feedback and preferences.
• All active sessions, signing you out everywhere.

What is kept

Anonymous product usage records — for example that a suggestion card was shown — are retained without any link to your account. They contain no personal content, only counters and positions, and cannot be traced back to you after deletion.

Catalogue information about books, films, shows and anime is shared reference data. It is not yours and is not affected.
